Special Event Service & Rental, Inc. announces $350,000 capital investment and relocation to Bartlett, TN.
Special Event Service & Rental, Inc. has been in business since 1994, as a service company that provides portable power (generators) power distribution, air condition and heating for Special Events, Sporting Events, Motion Picture, Live Televised Events, as well as Commercial and Industrial applications. The business was conceived with a focus on PGA Tour Golf Tournaments and the company currently provides services and equipment to about one third of the PGA Events in the United States and to numerous Champion Tour, LPGA Tour and Nationwide Tour Events.
Additionally, they provide portable water chillers for large commercial and industrial application in the case of equipment failure. Special Event Service & Rental, Inc. has received a 2011 nomination for The Memphis Business Journal Small Business of the Year.
On Friday, March 25, 2011 the company closed on their new building location in Bartlett, TN (formerly 84 Lumber Company). Construction on the building will begin in May 2011 and plans are to build 5,200 square feet of office space in addition to making exterior improvements. The estimated cost of improvements is $350,000.00.
City of Bartlett Mayor, Keith McDonald expressed his support of the new Bartlett business and said, “I am excited about the addition of our newest corporate citizen. I know they will work hard to be a great addition to our city. I hope they grow and flourish in their new location.”
Special Event Service & Rental, Inc currently employs 15 people.
